Welcome to BANQ, a premier tattoo studio nestled in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham, UK. Founded by the renowned artist and tattoo visionary Jay Banq, our studio is a blend of history, art, and a unique cultural vibe that sets us apart.
Jay Banq, celebrated across the UK for his distinctive 'Create & Destroy' style, masterfully blends modern and historic art to create truly remarkable tattoos. His vision, along with the dedication of our original team, brought BANQ to life in 2024. We are proud to operate out of one of the oldest bank buildings in the UK, a former Lloyds bank, which adds a touch of historical grandeur to our contemporary artistry.
At BANQ, we offer an unparalleled tattooing experience. One of our standout features is a private tattoo room housed within an old bank vault, offering a unique and intimate setting for your tattoo session. Our studio’s design draws heavily from West Coast American culture, creating a space that is both inspiring and welcoming. Unlike the stereotypical dark and dingy tattoo parlors, BANQ is bright and airy, with super high ceilings and an abundance of plants to infuse the space with good energy.
Built with the love and support of family and friends, BANQ exudes a familial atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home. This spirit of camaraderie extends to our clients, who travel from across the UK and beyond to be part of the BANQ experience.
